Directions to Tomales Bay State Park

FROM HWY 101: Take the San Anselmo/Sir Francis Drake Blvd exit and head west on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Drive approximately 45 minutes to the junction of Highway 1 at Olema, and turn right onto the highway. Drive about three miles and turn left, again, onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Continue through Inverness to a sign which indicates that Point Reyes beaches and lighthouse are to the left, and Tomales State Park is to the right. Turn right. At the sign for Heart's Desire Beach turn right through the gate, down the hill. At the ranger station, a $6 parking fee will be collected. Continue down the hill to the Heart's Desire parking area.
